What's with the pictures in the banner?

The pictures we are using in our banner reflect the many different aspects of life in New Jersey. You might recognize some of our state symbols, such as the Eastern Goldfinch (our State Bird) and the Blueberry (our State Fruit), or views from some of our great cities, such as Newark, Camden, Jersey City, and Hoboken.

From the Howard Johnson's in Asbury Park to the Cranberry bogs of Burlington County, our state is rich and diverse, and we wanted our website to reflect that.

If you have a suggestion for additional imagery in our banner, contact us at updates@njdems.org. If you are going to send a photo, please make sure it is at least 800 pixels wide.

Oh, and if you're wondering who those three little green birds are, watch this video to learn about the community of wild Quaker Parrots living in Edgewater, NJ!
